KitchenAid 24 in. KUDS25 Built-in Dishwasher - Page 3 Questions & Answers
Kitchenaid dishwasher kuds25shbs1 . dishes not clean,
Hi
-
Check the water temperature. Should be 125 to 140 F.
-
Check pump re-circulation., Listen, see if it sounds like it is spraying the water around with enough pressure.
-
Check water level when the fill cycle has completed. Should be just under the heating element. If not, possibly need to replace the water inlet valve.
-
Check the spray arm and pump cover for splits or leaks.
-
Check to make sure dishwasher is draining after each cycle. There should only be a little water in the bottom of the tub.
-
Make sure the dishes are loaded properly, or dishwasher is not overloaded.
-
Possibly try a different detergent. Some liquid-gels will bubble and a pump cannot pump bubbles.
Please do accept this solution and revert for further assistance.
Thanks

Dishwsher is getting no water?
can you make a test cord out of a short extension cord . cut the cord on the female end and crimp on two alligator clips . now with the dishwasher disconnected from the power grid put the alligator clips on the water valve .check that the alligator clips are not touching nothing but the valve terminals. Now plug up the male end into a wall outlet ,you should have water if not you will know what to test.
Dishwasher doesn't want to fill
Hello Dianne...I'll take a shot here.. chances are that the door interlock ( switch ) is disabling the dishwasher from starting.. it may be damaged or disconnected.. and as long as you are sure you have a water supply to the dishwasher,.. that's where I would start...If that switch is NOT made.. the dishwasher will not start... Hope that helps

No doubt the problem with your dish washer is bad key pad due to stuck button(s). The user interface you found in the technical data does not exist and what Whirlpool meant under this name only Whirlpool knows. They do not sell the key pad separate and that?s why you have to buy the complete console. Wherever you found the new part if it cost more then $150, let me know and I can get a better deal for you.

No Power
If it is a Kitchenaid KUDS25 series, there is a thermal fuse located on the upper portion of the electronic control panel. You will need a continuity meter to test it with the power OFF. In addition, check that the door latch switch closes properly and has conductivity across the two spades with the door closed. However, it sounds like you have bigger problems now with the broken ribbon cable...
Dishwasher Kitchenaid KUDS25SHHBLO
It sounds like your touchpad is faulty. It can be removed by opening dishwasher door and removing 4 Torx screws along upper edge. Be sure power to unit is off before working on it.
