It sounds like your dishwasher isnt level or mounted. Make sure also that the rails supporting the top rack are not just jammed. If its sliding like normal and appears to be on track and your dishwasher is mounted, give the top rack a couple slighlty more powerful jerks and tugs to try and unsieze them if they are bound up. Then spray small amounts of cooking oil on the rail mechanism if this breaks it free. If the rails are broke, look them up at repairclinic.com and replace parts.

Make sure there isn't a restriction in the machine-such as clogged filter, hoses etc.

More likely you have bad touch panel you get corrosion on the ribbon connector between control board in touch bad

Double check that model number...tell me what lights are alternating...that's a error code.

Model number? The model number is inside the door normally. Any lights on or it, or old dial type with no front lights?

HOW OLD IS IT AND NEED FULL MODEL #. In general undue screws at bottom kick plate and lift upward and it should come off. but some older models also have screws in the top of the panel that must be removed to get the panel off.

We found that for our kude40fxss5 dishwasher worked to press any 3 keys in the secuence 1-2-3 / 1-2-3 / 1-2-3 / with no more than 1 second between keys... then all the lights go on... close the door... allow about 30 seconds and then press cancell. It should restore normal operation. I hope it helps.

First, remove internal filter below the bottom rotor. Work carefully so you can reinstall. If you have a wet/dry vac, shopvac, remove the filter bag and then suck out the water and clean the bottom of the machine. ( the sump, the low spot inside the appliance. ) Sometimes a popcorn husk or a bit of glass or plastic can get by the filter and clog the pump. The sump is designed to retain a little water between cycles to keep the seals wet so don't worry if there is a bit left after a cycle. (not enough to cover the bottom but a 1/2 cup or so). If this doesn't solve you problem, check the drain hose from end to end. Sometimes it can get too sharp a bend or plug at the sink end.

Replace the control panel.

Turn the power off for a minute or unplug it for a minute.

In the bottom of the dishwasher, there is a filter the size of a glass, twist it and it will release.

Hold the 4 hour delay button down for 3 seconds.
