Kitchenaid dishwasher leaking from door

Check the screws on the pump cover under the lower spray arm (the spray arm is easy to remove, the screws are torx - maybe a torx 10 or 15, so a regular screwdriver wont work). They come loose on ours every 6-12 months and spray water at the door, causing it to leak all over our wood floor. I routinely tighten those screws now before they come loose enough to cause the problem.

Water left in compartment

You need to elevate your dishwasher drain hose under the sink. The water going down your disposal side is running down the hose into the dishwasher.

What??!! That is bizaro? If you have done that then logically it must be leaking BEFORE the solenoid, yes? OR the solenoid is some how Stuck Open? I mean that all I can think of, as if it is a NEW solenoid, the in non-operation mode is NC, AND the drive wires are OFF, then?? I know this may sound ODD, but maybe the new one is stuck open too. Give the solenoids a good whack or two & a soak in CRC, WD40 or the like? see if that somehow frees them up.

Dishes, glasses on the top rack dont get cleaned.

Hi,

Probably a blocked spray arm. Remove the top spray arm and check and clean all the holes as this is where the water sprays out from to clean the dishes and glasses. When they are blocked you get poor wash results.

Child Lock light glows without

The mini manual for this dishwasher is located behind the kick plate. The mini-manual reveals that the child lock (called a control lock in the manual) can be disengaged by pressing and holding the air dry button for four seconds.or energy saver dry button for four seconds.but if that does not helps.try this same thing for 10 to 15 times.as it does not get reset for the first times but gets resolved after trying same thing again n again 10 to 15 times. but if that does not solves the problem then its confirmed that electronic control board had failed.it needs replacement.replacing control board will solve the problem. ------ you can get the required parts from www.repairclinic.com or from www.partselect.com This will help. Thanks please keep updated. please do rate the solution positively .thank you for using fixya.

Water is not spraying

Plugged holes in spray bar or plugged filter in bottom, preventing water from draining down to the pump area. If the pump can't get water, it won't pump water up into spray bars. If spray bar holes are plugged, water can't get out.

KitchenAid KUDM25SH sprays water from under door at start up

Make sure the area where the door and bottom of the dishwasher meet there is not a buildup of debris. Inspect the dishwasher's gasket and make sure it's intact. It is pretty common to need to replace these. Finally, unscrew the little service door on the bottom of the machine and stand back and watch it for an entire first cycle. It might be squirting out of a slightly cracked pump housing that only leaks when subjected to the stress of startup, the water valve could be leaking when it opens to fill machine, or something else could be leaking. Make sure the wash arms are not damaged, are rotating freely, and don't have anything stuck in the jet holes.

Do you live in an area that has a lot of power outages? That could be one reason. Another reason is an area that has power surges. You can have an electrician add a surge protector to your electric fuse box that will help. Otherwise, if a good technician is replacing these parts for you, they should warranty the parts for a year. I hope this helps you.
