There is no OFF, you have RES toward front , ON is all the way down, and prime toward back, PRI is used when it has been sitting for awhile. RES and ON wont let gas out unless bike is runnig. There is a vac hose on back of petcock that lets ON and RES work it must be connected..
Straight up and down
Forward is reserve down is on back is prime-which will let gas flow into the carbs without being started. only use this when the bike has sat for a long period of time. their is no off setting!
As nimrod says there is no off res pri
on
as you look at the fuel tap

I have the same problem on my gsx 600f! there is no markings to say which is ON, or PRIME, or RESERVE on the petrol tap!
I'd like to know before I run out of petrol on reserve!
Is the ON position with the arrow pointing down? lots of people seem to be asking the same thing across the web! Can we have a solution please!!!!
