Sounds like you may have a probblem with your master cyl. It could be bypassing the seals inside. Does it drift off when holding? If there is no external leak problem is usualy here. Try replaceing brake fluid use only specafied fluid wrong fluid will ruin system.Bleed brakes. If still pursists master cyl needs rebuilt or replaced.

Bleeding my breaks on my 99 chrysler concord

Often just open the bleeder valve and let gravity do the work for you. Make sure the brake fluid is topped off. Work from the farthest brake cylinder to the closest cylinder to the brake reservoir.

How to fix rear brakes on kawasaki kx250

have you tried bleeding the caliper ? make sure the fluid is full and undo the bleed nipple , press the brake and hold and close the nipple , do this several times and keep a check on the fluid ! then try the brake ! if ok then happy days but if not then push back the pads and pump up the brake and see if they move back freely , if stiff then remove them and clean edges and clean the piston sides and check for corrosion or dirt etc and press it back in and pump out carefully to see if free ! put small amount of grease on metal edges of pads and refit and pump up brske and try !

Front brakes

Try bleeding the master cylinder first. Pump the brakes up,and hold lever in while loosening banjo bolt at the master cylinder. Loosen it slowly untill the fluid "rushes " out.The lever will go down, and just holdit in while tightening the banjo bolt. Be sure to use a towel or something over the tank/fairings,so it doesnt mess up the paint. Repeat this about 2 times,THEN bleed the caliper farthest from the master cylinder, then the other. This should fix your problem. If it still doesnt hold pressure, then most likely you have a leak in the master cylinder,or one or both of the calipers. Good Luck!

With gas line removed fuel pump quits running after 5-10sec

That is a built in safety. If you're fuel line were to rupture, you wouldn't want the fuel pump to empty your tank. The pump runs for several seconds until pressure is built up or the time-out period is reached, whichever comes first. If you clamp the end of the fuel line, the pump should run for a very short period to indicate the pressure sensor is working. When the clamp is released, the pump should start back up and run for several seconds until the time out period is reached.

Vn750 1985 brakes. I have reconditioned master cylinder but still have front brake spongy but will pump up to feel normal then after a short time have gone spongy again. Thanks for any help

You still have air bubbles trapped on the fluid hose, going to the brakes. To get rid of them, pump three times, hold the brake grip, unscrew the breathing tap down on the brakes, let it bleed, seal it and pump again. During all this procedure, you must always have the fluid reservoir on the steering bar, full, and closed to create pressure downwards. If done right, should have it in no more than 20min.

I have a 2006 Kawasaki concourse that will start but wont Idle with out the choke on. Seem to run better if the the fuel stop **** is on prime but it still wont idle. Whats causing this?

You may want to have your fuel system checked out. You may have water or trash in there. Have you checked you air filter? Fuel filter? Does the bike run fine other than the idle problem?
