I have an 800 kawasaki vulcan classic changed the oil and filter today now the oil and tempature lights stays on.

These circuits are controlled by a basic component being a sender unit. remove each of these and check that they are working properly using a multi-meter. If they show a continuous circuit when cold then they are faulty. If they are fine then check your manual and see if there is a simple diagnostic that is displayed by these lights being on

Have you put enough in should be 3-4 full on sight glass also the correct oil and you have to put extra in when you put a new oil filter on get back to me if ok

On most of the older Kaw's they had a plastic oil gear and when this brakes then you will have no oil pressure. You can go here http://www.gadgetjq.com/gadgetsfixitpage.htm , his page has all the information on Vulcan Motorcycles that you would ever need to know. There is information on there on how to replace the plastic oil gear or the POG as we Vulcan riders call it.

What kind of engine oil and spark plugs do I need for my 04 Vulcan 800 Classic? Thx

SAE 10-40 weight 3.1 quarts with an oil filter change, I would stick with a motorcycle oil, try to stay away from car oils.

NGK CR7E and the gap should be set at .028-.031 inches
