SOURCE: will a 2001 r1 engine fit a 1999 r1

If the 2001 is with carburetor it is basically the same engine. But that year changed to the fuel injected engine which is a pain to fit.

SOURCE: Is it possible in the frame of Yamaha xv 750 from 1981 engine of 1987 Yamaha xj 750 maxim to be fitted without major modifications? And if other parts such as wheels, fork, tank can also be fitted wit

Depends what you call major modifications. You are certainly going to need some high grade cutting and welding. Many would regard those as major modifications. Some would not! Additionally some basic research as to the length and diameter of the fork tubes will tell you a lot. I assume that you have worked out whether the length and alignment of the drive shaft is the same.

I have a 2004 S10 crew cab 4x4 needs a transmission I was told I have to use an 04 trans is this true or can I use another?

Stick to a 2004 Transmission. Transmissions are built to go with specific engines from specific vehicles. This means the bolt holes to fasten it to the engine and the chassis can be in completely different positions between engine set ups. This makes it almost impossible to fit without Serious modification. Another factor to think about is that a 2 wheel drive Trans will be different to a 4 wheel drive Trans.

Will a 1990 ford ranger engine fit 1990 Mazda B 2200 truck without any modifications?

No it will not. Only a comparable engine from another mazda b2200 truck and I think the b2000 and possibly Miata, 2.2 engines were about the same from 1986-1993. You can pretty much count out just dropping in a motor from a different manufacturer for any make. Fords don't fit chevys, etc. etc., This would require you modify the entire drive train and quite possibly the electrical system, cooling system, etc. Definitely not worth the hassle involved.

How to fit a towbar to a nissan luarel 1998

As the fitment of tow bars to vehicles requires a modification plate to be added to the vehicle this is a job best left to the shop doing the job. Nissan currently have chassis/body failure from incorrect tow bars and incorrect fitting procedures. If the bars are fitted by anyone not qualified to do so and the bars are not certified then the owner faces criminal charges in the event of the bar failing and causing damage.

I have a 2005 model Quinny Buzz and tried my chassis with a newer model frame. The only difference in seat frame to chassi conection is the format on the tip of the pole that ataches to the chassis. Mine...

Hi

This is not recommended as modification of your Quinny could make the product unsafe to use.

From what you are saying you are trying to use the original 2005 style chassis with a newer model sub seat (seat frame) is this correct?

If so there are rubber bungs on either prong on the sub seat that can be removed in order for this model sub seat to fit in the 2005 chassis. If you'd like more information on doing that please pass on an e-mail address and we can put you in touch with an engineer to discuss.

Best motherboard that will fit the case of my Dell 8200 PC. I want more ram and maybe upgrade the processor.

The best MB for that chassis that will fit without any Modification is a Dimension 8400/PWS370 Dell Motherboard. The chassis power button/USB connection is a proprietary Dell connector and using any 3rd party MB will require modification and the wiring is almost impossible to find for that control board.

For just about the same cost (MB, Processor, Heatsink/Fan and RAM) you can buy a New Vostro 220 with a Core 2 Duo processor w/3GB RAM and a 320 GB HDD and it is under warranty
