Fuel leaking from the bottom of the carb put a new carb on doing the same after a few days
Did you put a brand new carb or just new to you.check inside of tank for rust or dirt install a new fuel filter
New carbs aren't known for leaking unless you had it open and altered some thing. A float can get stuck if you let it sit without using it. Should put stable in your tank and run it so thestable gets into the carbs.
Check above the carb for a gas leak from the gas hoses and check the gas tank. They may be running down onto the carb and just appears like the carbs leaking

sounds like the needle and seat may be the problem

that would be either the float set to high or the needle and seat is missing an o-ring while you had it apart. Should look at getting a carb kit there only approx. 23 bucks and it would save you a lot of grief in the long run.

it sound like your fuel shut off valve is bad and the needle valve and set may need to be cleaned.

I had the same issue with mine, just recently purchased the bike, previous owner said it ran but has been in storage a year and a half. I filled the fuel filter and everything and it would **** down the fuel but never even attempted to fire. I came to find out that there are two lines that come off the tank, the one without the fuel filter has a vacuum on it. So what we did was pour a little fuel down that line to prime the engine because it dumps fuel straight between the carb and cylinder. Took about 3-4 attempts but it fired and ran, just had to set the idle from there. Hope that helps you.
