Never heard of this. chances are you will find a weak spot in the tank and blow through it. To me this sounds like a very dangerous endeavor.

I need information on the mac 5 evolution chainsaw ie what petrol it uses also what do you put in the small tank

Hi tonyobrie...
You do not use any fuel with your electric chainsaw...
The small tank is used to put "Bar and Chain Oil" in...
It is used to lubricate your chain and bar as you are using the saw, it is specially formulated oil for that use only.

I need to drain my Honda Activa petrol tank as I need to transport it to Bangalore. How do I do this.

Shut off valve at the bottom of tank. remove fuel line from carburetor and point it into an approved fuel container. Open fuel valve and drain tank. If you have a reserve setting on your valve, turn it to that to get all the fuel out. Then, look the the bowl of your carburetor. At the bottom there is a small drain line. Above that drain line is a slotted screw. Point that drain line into a container and turn the screw left to drain the fuel out of the carburetor bowl. Retighten the screw after it drains. Place your fuel tank valve to off.

How do i repair a dent in my motorcycle petrol tank, its on the left hand side caused by bike falling on a kerb, it has a small crease but still fuel tight, no rust, could it be pulled out or should i just...

Once upon a time we used to pop them out with compressed air. Be sure to close the fuel valve and empty the tank if you try this. Likewise air out the fumes and don't smoke.
Or
Fill it with Bondo. Don't drill holes to try to pull out the dent, then you have holes in the tank.

A small dent in the fuel tank

Hello,
Depending on the size of the dent, it is possible to remove it by a couple of ways.
One way it can be done is with a suction dent puller. It is usually used on cars to remove hail damage and door dings. Some auto parts stores carry them in stock.
Another way is to use an air compressor to "blow out" the dent. You will need to drain the fuel first, then close the supply petcock once the tank is empty. If possible, remove the petcock and seal the opening. Too much air pressure can blow out the diaphram in the petcock. You can pressurize the tank with the petcock installed, just be very careful.
Then seal off the filler opening using a heavy rag wrapped around the air nozzle. Be sure the compressor pressure is around 50-60 psi and work your way up to 100-120 psi.
This method is crude, but will work most of the time.
Hope this helps
