Problem starting/ one cylinder or spark plug drop out.
It sounds like you have a problem with your ignition. I would suggest replacing the spark plug wires because they are not insulating the power dischage from the elements. I have had issues like this and I usually have the bike in a garage with the garage lights off, have the bike running and mist the engine with a spray bottle. The blue arc of the power discharge is very visible and the location will be evident. Hope this helps.
I want to build a two into one exhaust system for
Here's the basic rules: The pipe only needs to be as big as any one pipe.Since you only fire on one cyl. at a time. However most pipe builders will make it 1.5 times the size to make it flow better. If it flows better than stock ( which it will ) you'll need to increase jet size. I usualy go .005 bigger and it always seems to work out about right nomatter what the bike. (k&n air filters will help it all flow better also).
Fuel pump
as they just say disconnect pipe in the instructions for removing the tank.
I have tried pulling pushing squeezing and everything else I can think of. I daren't put too much pressure on it as it's only a plastic fitting out of the pump, and I have read enough tragic tales of it breaking.,You need to push the hose in towards the elbow while pulling the collar back. I couldn't get enough purchase on it and in the end used an open ended spanner that fitted over the elbow and pressed on the collar(?) of the fitting. Then push f***ing hard with the hose towards the elbow and it popped right off. Only took me 40 mins before trying with the spanner.,,,
Electrics
That's a tricky one! They are normally hydraulically-activated swiches if my LM2 3 5 and 1100 Sport are anything to go by. Do you have a faulty hydraulic switch? Disconnect one at a time - that may be the answer.,,,
Cluch
Swings and roundabouts! its a lot quicker to do it the way you mention but by removing the battery and battery plate which takes time you can give a whole area a clean up and then after doing the adjustment spray something like 'Duck Oil' around which will help keep the dirt away.,
Gas cables
getting to know my bike etc..as I had a broken throttle cable.
The other one didn't look too hot so decided to change them both.
Took me a good few minutes to figure out how to thread the cable through the slide in the carbs but managed it in the end.
However once all that was done, I can't fit the other end into the handlebars:,Hi, I would do it the other way arond, throttle first then the carbs, can be tricky but i think it is the way it has to be done. Yes, slacken off everything, thread cables first on to the throttle and clip in, then then the carbs and then readjust. You are on the right track, just abit back to front.,,,
Coils
To be honest get any 12 volt ones from a bike accessories shop to suit either electronic or points ignition. I have used coils like these with no problems.

How to remove the fuel tank from a moto guzzi breva 1100
Probably have to remove the seat first. Most fuel tanks are retained by u shaped flanges that grip a round rubber puck on both sides of the frame near the steering head. After you drain the fuel, lift the rear of the tank slightly and pull it to the rear, it should then be free to lift off the frame.
Blocked overflow on fuel tank
I don't know what vehicle/equipment you're referencing here. With that in mind, can you drill a hole or holes through the chassis just below the gas cap to allow water to escape?
