The fuse for the cigarette lighter is located in the fuse box under the hood. It is a 20 Amp (yellow fuse) in position #32. You can check the lid of the fuse box under the hood for a diagram to show the positions.

The fuse for an cigarette lighter is a 10 amp which is blue in color. the a/c clutch is a relay that is located in the junction box under the hood on the drivers side. the relay is a black square that is quite larger than your standard fuse.

Open the back panel of the fuse box and dashboard. trace the wire from the cigarette lighter/air conditioner to the fuse box (under the steering colum) then go to an auto parts store and find the fuse that matches the serial number on that one

Hello bethreesuk, my name is JShreader. Thank you for choosing fixya.com.

Ok...The Fuse for the Cigarette Lighter is in the Panel in the Passenger side Dash. It is Fuse # F8 and is a 20 Amp Fuse. The Fuse for the Heated Mirrors is located in the Under Hood Fuse/Relay Panel and is # Ef27. These numbers are marked on the panel. I also uploaded the Fuse Panel Layouts and the descriptions of each Fuse/Relay for you in .pdf format. You can download it by clicking HERE. I hope this helps you. If you have any more questions or need any more diagrams, please don't hesitate to ask...Thanks again, JShreader!

I have Mitsubishi eclipse '98 GS.Cigaret lighter just stopped working. Checked the fused and replaced but it's still doesn't work. I was using a portable compressor to pump some air in my tire. I need it...

so you replaced a blown fuse to the cigar lighter and it still dosent work?.. then the wiring was compromised before the fuse blew..you need to repair bad wiring to cigar lighter and/or lighter itself internally melted /failed due to your air pump asking for more electricity than the cigar lighter could deliver..once repaired do not use the air pump there again ..good luck

Cigaret lighter not working

I am not that familiar with peugeot's but. You can buy a test light for cheap or construct one if you have the parts. And most cars have a fuse box inside the car and another one outside under the hood.
At the least you can pull each fuse at a time and check if thier burnt out.
Also check to see if there's a foreign object (like a coin) in the cig lighter socket.
