What is the 98 isuzu rodeo head bolt torque

Isuzu does not list specific torque values for these fasteners. When this is the case, you are expected to use standard torque values. These can be found on the chart I have linked below. Be advised that bolt sizes go by the diameter of the shaft [round shaft portion] of the bolt or stud, NOT the hex head [socket size] of the bolt or nut. Partially remove the bolts so that you can measure the shaft and obtain the correct torque from the chart. See

For the V6 3.2L engine it is 6 - 2 - 3 - 7 on top, and 5 - 1 - 4- 8 on the bottom. These are M11x1.5 bolts and should be torqued to 47lb-ft.These bolts should not be re-used, only replaced.

The three M8x1.25 bolts on the left end are sequence numbers 11 - 10 - 9 from top to bottom and should be torqued to 15lb-ft.

stage 1 = 29Nm(21 lb ft/3.0 kg-m)
final = 64Nm(47 lb ft/6.5kg-m)
do not reuse head bolts or apply any lubricant to the bolts. Do up bolts in following order for each head.

The specs.Are the m8 bolts 15 ft.lbs and the m11 bolts 47 ft.lbs.note:The m11 bolts cannot be reused and no oil on threads.

Torque the cylinder head bolts to eighteen (18) foot pounds (ft/lbs) in the sequence shown in the attached photo. Hope this helps and best wishes.
