CD's could need to be cleaned.
If you burned them yourself, the CD's could be
scratched are dammaged.

Unlike store bought CD's home made CD's do not have a
protective plastic coating.

When I put a cd in my 2000 jeep cherokee sport the cd is in for like 5 seconds then it says err and spits the cd back out. The cd player has hardly been used. What do you think the problemis?

Try a different CD, the CD could be scratched or defective. the CD player could have dust in it ,try a CD player cleaner.which is a CD with a brush that cleans the dust of the CD reader

I have a 2001 chrysler town and country. cds got stuck in the 4 cd changer. I took the player out, removed the cds but now cds wont go in all the way and the display reads err. radio works fine, tape...

Sounds like the ejector has become jammed, probably from repeatd failed attempts to eject the stuck cd's.
There isn't much you can do about it, repair on that unit will probably cost more than a better aftermarket replacement

Radio speakers only work on left side and cd player spits out cds and says err

Sounds like the radio has a problem, there is a site on the web that you can research the error code. I don't remember the site but search your radio and problem on the web. Your radio should either display the error code or the light may be blinking, record the number of blinks for reference.

Cd Player in Mitsubishi Lancer not Reading Cds

I have this problem with my car cd player in nissan sentra. You can buy a cd/dvd cleaner and clean drive several times. Previous owner probably put dirty cds in their and the lenses can be very dirty. My cd player would say error and just spit cd back out. Now it works on and off, i think the lense is still dirty in mine. Good Luck. If that dont do it could be something more major with the player.

CD player says error and spits discs back out repeatedly

If cleaning didn't help, then replacing is the way to go.You can go to a local stereo shop and see if they can fix it easily.they might know the trick on doing it.It's worth a try.Don't go to Best buy.I know you have seen one as you were driving around town, just pull in and see what's up,They may have fixed one as the same as your Nissan.

2002 Silverado- CD played ERR message

This is not a fuse problem, it may be a dirty laser lens or a broken loading mechanism, buy a CD player cleaner disk, if that won't work you will have to pull the unit out and send it in for repair at an authorized GM electronics repair station.
