SOURCE: Nissan Altima no cool air blowing or hot air blowing

Hi!
It appears we have an Air lock scenario and you will need to perform a system Bleed.
Park the vehicle on level ground, when cold remove coolant filler cap, start engine and leave to idle, turn heater on full and blower to max. When engine reaches operating temperature watch and listen near coolant filler, keep clear as gurgling and hopefully a boil over should occur. Top up with very warm coolant and wait as it may do it again.
Check for heat inside vehicle if warm replace coolant cap but keep an eye on temperature gauge as the ~Air lock may have moved on from heater matrix/core so proceedure needs to be carried out again from COLD.

SOURCE: air conditioner is not cooling

Are you sure the compressor is engaging? It normally wont engage if the line pressure is to low(meaning the system is out of freon.)

SOURCE: air conditioner blows hot air from dash

On most cars when you push a button or slide a lever to change your choice of location where you want the air to blow out louvers move inside the dash to redirect the air to your chosen location. When you switch from heat to AC other louvers move. These louvers are often powered by vacuum lines running from the engine. If one of these louvers is stuck or if you have a vacuum leak in one of the lines it may be causing your problem.

SOURCE: Air conditioner on 2002 Pontiac blowing hot air, although freon is not low...also makes a clicking noise.

Take it to a garage and have them evacuate the system and refill with refrigerant. you have air and non condensibles in the refrigerant system.

SOURCE: air conditioner isn't blowing cold air

Could be a number of things...electrical connections causing the compressor not to run. Turn on AC and turn your thermostat all the way to cool...now visually check to see if compressor is engaged and not just free wheeling. Most likely you lost your refridgerant due to leak in the system...would need to find leak and repair then have your system re-charged with refridgerant. Best case scenario...your system just needs a charge of refridgerant due to not having enough.

I have a 1998 Lumina and the air conditioner doesn't blow cool or cold air. It has refridgerant in it. The air compressor kicks on and off, what else could the problem be?

Is the refrigerant full, if not the air will not be cold and sometimes when real low it won't blow cool air at all. Be sure to check the level with a gauge and this will give you a more of an idea.

Air conditioner for a 1993 acura legend

The LOW side pipe is the larger one of the two. My son's were clearly marked on his 2nd gen. There may be a "door" stuck open allowing hot air from the heater core to flow into the ducts. Some are solenoid operated, elect. or vacuum switched. Try going from heat to cool and listen for any noises.

Radiator Cooling fans pull or push air (93 Chevy Lumina 3.1 L) ?

A radiator fan is designed to pull air to pull air through the radiator to help cool it, while blowing the air on back across the engine to try to assist once again at keeping the unit running cool as to not over heat.

Over heating

Check to see if your water pump is leaking radiator fluid through the weep holes, or maybe a wore out drive belt. good luck.
