My 1997 honda civic ex coupe has spark but is not getting gas my buddy who knows alot about hondas says the fuel lines or fuel pump could be clogged how would i solve this?
Have you checked for fuel pump running pressure and volume? Checked the fuel filter? Fuel lines don't get clogged.

On a 2003 Honda Civic the fuel filter is located along the firewall just a few inches to the right of the battery. Its the fuel pump that is located under the back seat.

Main Relay location, car doesnt turn on
Well first of all it sound like your fuel pump is dead, To get to your fuel pump you need to take out the back seat out because it is located under it in the middle. Or you can drop the gas tank to get to the fuel pump. And the relay switch should be in your fuse box Now if memory serves me correctly you should have 2 fues boxes in that model. Check the engine area for that relay for the fuel pump.
