Since your battery is fine and you hear a clicking sound there is a problem getting the power to the rest of the systems on the vehicle. That clicking noise is your starter that doesn't have enough juice to get it going. This may be something as simple as dirty or rusty terminals, a bad connection between the terminals and the cable or even bad battery cables. The ifrst thing you should do is take off your battery terminals and clean them clean them and also while you're at it take a look at those cables to make sure they aren't obviously damaged. Reconnect the terminals to the cables and battey and see what happens. If it doesn't work, you'll need to have a professional look at it.

When i turn key to start dash lights come on but does not turn over is there a fuse or would it be the starter

You are going to do a few tests before we can say a starter failed. First do you hear a loud click in start position? If not go to starter and test for power. Large post should always have power. Small wire should have power in start position . If no power to small wire ,you're going upstream to neutral safety switch and ign switch. If it's getting power in start position, have someone hold in start position and tap on starter with a hammer. If it starts replace starter. If still no startcheck battery, ground cable for failure

No A/C coming out of dash. It works through defrost vents and floor. Heard noise while driving: sounded like it was under dash. Chas.

Replace your blend door and actuator for the blend door and everything will work fine after that. This is a fairly common problem with all fords. The location is behind the glove box.

When i try to start my 2000 Ford Explorer, all the lights on the dash go on like it's going to start but the engine doesn't turn over, all you hear is a clicking sound.

sounds like the starter, if the battery is good, have someone tap on the starter while the ignition is turned. You can pull the starter off and a auto parts store can check it out. Hope This Helped Tim

My 98 taurus wont start

Check the battery cable connections. If they are loose or have corrosion on them, it would result in what you describe. Also check the wires to the starter, same thing, you need to have tight, clean connections. This should be the problem, let me know how you make out. Curt

HI..
If you check the connection of the battery .
if you hear a cliking noise. and lights inside weak.
Is mean the battery is descharged or not good.
Try giving jumpstart cables. or with other battery.
Really I guess is a battery problem.
If the vehicle start. check if the Alternator is Charging.

I hope this could be a good point to start your diagnostic.

I hope work for you.
