Need free help when trouble codes come up 1124 and 1128 no power unless you step on it then it takes of but as soon as you let off it dogs deown again no power

Check for applicable trouble codes. Some of the national brand auto stores will check codes for free.

You may need to clean the throttle body and clean those small passages. With a high idle block off mouth of throttle body, should have a big effect on the idle? There are several issues that could cause idle to act up. Vacuum leak--maf and or map sensor. Don't replace anything unless testing points you in that direction.

First thing that needs to be done is to scan the trucks computer using a scan tool that you can rent for free from your local autoparts store. The trouble code and definition that is retrieved from the scanner will help to let you know what is going on with the truck and what repairs will be needed to fix your truck.

I would start with checking fuel pressure, possible the pump or regulator could be faulty.

your post is six months old.but i will tell you the best thing to do. take the vehicle to an auto parts store ,like advanced auto auto zone .etc etc
they will check your code for free . get a print out of the code its desciption and any trouble shooting tips .example p0103 mass air flow voltage range fault . check electrical connections clean or replace. take a pen and paper sometimes their printers are down. write it down . at this point you have the first step in finding out what is wrong and weather or nto your going to try and fix it .if you need more help from fixya .you will get faster results with the code and the desription .good luck

Many thing can cause the engine light to come ON. It could be a small problem to a big problem. Some cases, it will effect your gas mileage to something that needs to be fix before it grow into a bigger problem.

Best to have the troubles codes pulled for the on board computer to see what's happening. Most local Auto-parts store will do this for free for you. They will tell you what the trouble code means. Then, you'll an idea on what it is and who you need to take it to get the problem fixed.

You need to have the diagnostic code read to determine what's causing the issue, Whenever you have a problem and the service light comes on, it logs 1 or more trouble codes to help in diagnosis.

Your going to have to get the truck scanned for DTC codes. The flashing service engine light is there to let you know that the ECM has detected an issue with the trucks performance and there is a Diagnostic Trouble Code.
