I need to know how to mount the front license plate on a 2011 eclipse?

I would think from looking at others with license plates on its self tapping screws. there looks to be a indent where the plate would be fitted. depending on front design.

First you need a license plate bracket that mounts to the bumper, and then you screw the license plate to the bracket.

Most bumpers have very small indentations where the screws should go. Look closely on the bumper.

hi, yes, you can buy an universal license plate mounting frame at any auto part store, it comes with all the hardware you need, you can use a tape measure and small level to get it centered....

well u will have to drill holes though the bumper and use the supplied screws that came with the kit u might have to use washers on both sides of the screws of the license plate but that should work for ya

If your State doesn't require it, why install it?
If your State does require a front plate, and you just bought the car, take it back to the dealer. They are required by law to install the plate before selling it.

Any auto store can sell you mounting hardware for your front plate. If you look at your front bumper, you should see two little dimples in the center of the bumper, these will line up with your plateholder. Make sure it does and drill there, and mount with proper hardware.
