Note the position of the spark plug wires before removing the wires.
Twist the spark plug boot 1/2 turn before removing the boots.
Gently pry the heat shield up from the spark plugs using the J 38491 .
Remove the spark plug wires from the spark plugs.
Remove the spark plugs from the engine.
Hope this helps, as far as spark plugs on backside of of engine, it just depends. Some people rock the engine forward to get at rear plugs. Sometimes I crawl underneath see if easier to reach plugs? There can be safety issues working under a vehicle. Safety is your responsibility. Your local auto store should have whatever tools you need.
If it's only the one spark plug not firing, try replacing the high voltage ignition wire (or swapping it with another one just for a test). It could also be a broken spark plug, or a failed (fouled) spark plug. It could also be a bad distributor cap.
Engine off
Remove one spark plug wire / using correct size spark plug wrench with / rubber boot designed for spark plugs (deep well socket with rubber boot) remove (1) spark plug / gap new replacement spark plug to specs / install replacement spark plug by hand into head of engine /finger tight /using spark plug socket and rachet finish tighting spark plug / tighten just beyond snug being careful to not over tighten and breaking spark plug ..if in doubt about the proper tighting consult motor manual for torque specs. use torque specs in conjunction with appropiate torque wrench . Re-install removed spark plug wire ...proceed to remaining spark plugs doing one at a time until completed.

after purchasing replacement spark plugs and wires and making sure to have them correctly gapped use a 5/8 spark plug socket remove one at a time and replace in that order to make sure you dont mess up firing order gently remove boot on the first plug then unscrew plug place new plug in secure wire by snapping boot onto plug if theres oil in your cylinder youll need to replace tube seals common problem with hondas seal kit comes with valve cover gasket its fairly simple. replace all of them the same way one at a time.
Spark plugs usually are very simple to do, however some vehicles are hard to reach the spark plugs. It depends on your comfort level. If you prefer to not go to a mechanic, then maybe a neighbor would be willing to help?
