Question about 2002 Ford SVT Focus
Just this past weekend, the remote keyless entry and power door lock system of my 2002 Ford Focus station wagon (67,000 miles) stopped working. I checked the fuse and it is intact, and the instrument panel is working fine. The parking lights and horn respond when I press the remote button to check the perimeter anti-theft system to see if the car is locked. What could the the problem be?
If works by key fob and nott keyless entry I would lean towards faulty key pad or broken wires on door

Driver door module is where to look also a broken or corroded wire and if you use your key to punch in the door code then the key pad has a hole in it or it just went bad it's not the remote control also check the master door lock switch for corrosion at the pins and the plugs same with the driver door module
