I have a carburated 84 mazda GLC im tryinto put the engen out of a fuel injected 86 mazda 323 can i put the carburated intake on the newer fi manifold if so what else would i have to change?

You're probably going to have to figure out a way to lower the fuel pressure because the carb can't handle pressures that high. Holley makes an adjustable fuel pressure regulator and there may be others. Set the regulator at 5 psi. I hope this helps. Take care. Sounds like a fun project if you have any more questions for me use testimonial and it will show up in my email.

86 ford escort with carberator dies at stop

If the problem is not a vac leak, it could be the idle circuit inside the carb. You may have to replace or rebuild the carb to fix it.

The diaphram can tear, but when this happens it typically leaks gas into the crankcase. Is there gas in your oil? If no, recommend you take the float bowl cover off and see what's going on when you start it. Please let me know if you have more questions.

90 caddy seville put new plugs in #2 cylinder seems to gas foul alot weather it sits for a night or sometimes within a few miles of changing the plug why?

If yours is the carburated model, the float may be to high allowing to much fuel into the engine. The air/fuel adjustment may also be adjusted to rich.
If its the injected model,The fuel pressure regulator may be allowing to much fuel to flow to the injectors and the pressure should be checked and, call the auto parts store and check to be sure the correct spark plugs are being used. If so ask for 1 heat range higher.

Gas peculating in carburator and running into motor.

there is exhaust that runs from head to head under carburetor . there should be a damper that opens when cold and closes when hot . when it stays open after motor reaches operating temperature gas in bowl boils and gas is a vapor instead of a mist and causes motor to run lean .

1989 accord lx, idles high at start-up, now it won't stay running

Carburated engines of that year may have an idle screw adjuster. You can see the screw from the outside of the carb. If so, try adjusting the carburator with a screwdriver. Unlike fuel injected Engines they can be manually adjusted.

454 carburetor motor cranks will not start. New battery, electric fuel pump and has spark.

For carburator engines the common problem is the chock is to lean. Please follow this link. It shows how to adjust the chock position (page 8) carburator.
Also there is good trobleshoting table at page 22
Hope that helps

I got a 79 ford with a 351M and it will start for a bit then die as soon as i give it any gas i put a new fuel pump in and fuel filter and it still is doin this do you think that it is the acceration...

maybe the float in the carburator or timing also check for fuel leak because you have a pump that sucks gas to the motor if any leak it would **** air to carb
