Most of the relays are under the black cover that sits right behind the battery in right hand drive cars. Take the cover off, turn it over and read the inside of it, it will tell you what fuses and relays are there.
Fuel Pump Relay is usually located in the engine compartment (under the hood) fuse/relay box. But, if you are having problems starting the car,....there is most likely a fuel shut off reset button in the trunk, on the right side, under the carpeting, on top of the rear wheel well. Look around in there. That's where it was in my 1999 Taurus.
The fuel pump relay is located to the right of the glove box.
After the insulation panel is removed, the fuse/relay panel will be to the right of the glove box. The insulation panel should have a diagram of the fuse/relay panel layout.
is the car left or right hand drive .if left hand drive try looking in the right hand side ,also sometimes a fuse will cover more than one item , i would check all fuses
On some models, the Engine Control unit has a power supply relay. These relays some times get internal dry solder points. After driving for some time the the solder will get hot and separate. When it cools down it makes contact again. You will have to replace this relay or open it up and re- solder the solder joints. The relay is usually located on the main relay station in position 3. the relay station is located behind the right dash panel.[right hand drive vehicles]. You may need to refer to a manual for your specific model to find the exact location of the relay.
located under the hood in the fuse and relay box. open the box you will see the first 2 relay, the fuel pump relay is the one on your right hand, next to the fender.
The fuel pump relay (square/silver looking part) is located right above
the fuse box panel under the driver's side dash. Go under
the driver's side and you will see two squares. It'll be the one that is higher up
Fuel Pump relay switch is in the main box usually located on the drivers side Fender in a black box.
According to the owner's manual in the power distribution box in the engine
compartment (Ford recommends disconnecting your battery)
Relay # 5 is the fuel pump relay , and also in the PD BOX is a 20 amp mini-fuse
for the fuel pump relay + RAP module in location # 9
( P.S. - don't forget your fuel pump inertia switch , in the right front passenger area ,
by the right front kick panel )Sometimes this gets kicked by passenger or if the car is bummed hard it could set this item to shut down fuel system. Best of Luck
Hi irvj6ohn: The 1993 and 1994 XJ6 Fuel Pump Relay is located in the trunk of the vehicle on the right hand rear side. It is light blue and black in color. I hope this helps.
