How to find a short thats draining the battery on a 1990 Toyota pickup. Also need to find out where the flasher is located because the turn si gnals and the flashers don't work.

you need to check your relay. Ususlly they are under your hood. YOur user manual should point them out. with the car key turned on, check if relay is hot. if so there is your drain.

Hi there:
On 1990 Isuzu Truck t he Flasher is located front seating area, driver side, under dash, near fuse panel, taped to dash wiring harness.

Hope this helps; also keep in mind that your feedback is important and I'll appreciate your time and consideration if you leave some testimonial comment about this answer.

Thank you for using Fixya, and have a nice day.

My turn signals are NOT working, but emergency flashers are. Any ideas? They just went out today-- wondering if it's 1/ fuse 2/ turn signal relay or...?

Check for the FLASHER. For 1991 Toyota Truck Pickup 4WD (4 cyl) 2.4L FI 4cyl the Flasher is located front seating area, driver side, under dash, mounted driver side of steering column.

Hope this helps.

My toyota 92 pickup truck turn signals don't work;

Try changing out your turn signal flasher.it might be under your dash by your fuse box.Some trucks have two one for turn signals one for 4 way flashers.By all means check the fuse first.

Left turn signal comes on when i push the brake petal

check the brake switch, you might need a wiring diagram to see exactly how the wiring is, but that is a possibility or it could aslo be the flasher

91 toyota corolla left turn signal stays lit up al the time. Right turn signal working okay. Bulbs for left ok. where is the turn signal flasher located for this model or is it not the flasher,s problem....

If the right side signals are working properly and you can hear the signal flasher clicking when the right side signals are selected, the flasher is not the problem. Its more likely you have a short to ground in the left side wiring somewhere.

No flashers or turn signals

Try the fuse/breaker panel under hood, drivers side.
