SOURCE: I need a brake line diagram for a 1997 Ford

Try to get the service manual from Ford for your vehicle. Many times Haynes and Chilton won't publish it, because there is a certain flexibility in the way lines can be routed, underneath the vehicle in question.

The brakes may cross over left front to right rear and right front to left rear as far as being connected in circuits by the master cylinder.

Some GM trucks use a front to back system where the two front wheels are on a circuit and the two back wheels are on a circuit, but this is antiquated.

Actually, if you follow the routing of the brakes the way I described, you'll be able to put new lines on by copying what was there in the first place, assuming nobody has disassembled it since it was at the factory or what not.

Hope this helps.

SOURCE: I have a 95 wrangler

it's called a cross member and doesn't have a real aprt number that i'm aware of. in order to remove it you have to grind off the rivots and punch them out. you generally can find a suitable replace ment at a salvage yard for alot less money. you can also go to a dealership and they have a blow up diagram and you can show them the part and they can order it for you depending on if it's still available.. please rate this

SOURCE: tail light wiring connectors and wiring diagram

A test light checking each connector would be faster and easier to do. Maybe somebody may have a illustration for you but by far a simple test light is all you need with a helper turning on the different lights as you check them out and writing all your findings down

The easyest way to replace the brake line in this spot is to find a good place in front of the tank and fish a new line up through the frame, then join it front & rear into the system where you have room to work.
As far as the towing, you should see what the maximum rateing of the truck is, also you should check the other brake lines for corrosion. good luck.

If it's a rusty brake line that's leaking you'd best replace the whole brake line system (all 4 wheels) for your safety. Fuel lines have the same problem. These are made out of steel and rust fast due
to calcium chloride used on the roads in winter.
Unless you're familiar with routing and installing connectors on these lines I suggest you let a pro do the job. It ain't as easy as it looks.

I have a rusted out rear left brake line on my 1997 blazer. Is there a replacement and how difficult a job is it?

you will need a shop to make up a new line. install it and bleed the brakes. hopefully the rest of the lines are ok. Sometimes if the bleeders are rusted, you may need even more parts replaced.

1997 ford escort brake line diagram

The LF and RR are in an independent circuit of the RF, LR wheels. The master cylinder already has the lines hooked up in a way that if you trace the lines, you can make your own diagram.

Looking for a diagram for ford explorer brakes

I'm not sure what you are looking for. Are you looking for brake line diagram? Diagram of brake assemblies? Vacumm diagram? Here's a couple, if they don't help, let me know exactly what you need.

Brakes

There are a couple of possibilities. First, the caliper pistons could be rusted and sticking, or, more likely, the points at which the pads contact the brake assembly have rust built up which is restricting the pads from moving away when the brakes are released. My explorer had a problem with the latter condition. The brake pads should slide easily. I simply took a hammer knocked the rust off (with the pads removed of course). If you live in the north like me, salt and rust can be a big problem
