It depends on which cylinder it's on. You can access the front three (2, 4, 6; I think but check your user manual) fairly easily. It's the back cylinders that are going to get you into the time and cost of labor. If it's on a front cylinder, I suggest viewing a DYI on YouTube to determine if you have the skill level and tools.

How do you take off the fuel rail on a 1996 Volvo 960?

Hesitation is rarely due to injector problems! Have you checked the throttle position sensor, and checked for possible vacuum leaks? What about the EGR valve?

I have a F350 diesel non- tubo with a fuel leak in back at top. replaced o ring at back injector and replaced all hose clamps but still bad runing leak. What next?

This engine has fuel lines that run to each injector from the injector pump. On the older Fords they touch each other in places. This constant vibration from the engine has caused a pin hole in one of your fuel lines to the injector. You will need to find the bad line. Can be hard as some of these are buried and hard to see. The replacement line will need to be purchased from Ford as each fuel line has to be a certain length and they are all high pressure lines. I have seen this many times in the older Fords.

Where is the fuel injector located and how hard to replace. 2002 cadillac Deville. [email protected]

It's not that difficult to replace. You should be able to get any diagram you'll need, as well as a lot more useful information by registering for free at www.autozone.com Registration gives you free access to repair manuals and some shop manuals, most with sections that can be downloaded and printed.

Hi, My '04 'misses' when idling AND while driving. It's a chug-like roughness????I've just had a service(plugs, transmission)Hayley. E-mail: [email protected]

hey,it's against fixya.com policy for me to contact you directly, but i will try to assist you. lets do this by the numbers. bought fuel lately? suspect bad fuel? add clear, clear, rubbing alcohol to your gas tank and this will dry up any water in the gas tank and it will not harm your engine at all. if you do not suspect bad fuel purchase, then, maybe clogging fuel injectors in the engine. remedy, local parts store, autozone, advance auto parts, purchase lucas fuel injector treatment{cleaner] just add it to your fuel tank.follow the instructions on the bottle, after 25to50miles,you should see a difference in the engine.but just to diagnose for you without hearing the engine, sounds like a clogged fuel injector or misfire of sparkplugs, but you've already replaced the plugs,so fuel injectors is my diagnosis.thank you for choosing fixya.com

I have a 97 ford taurus and I have replaced every possible sensor that you can think of as well as the alternator and the cam position sensor and the snythanizor, crank sensor, fuel pump and filter,...

'hard to crank', meaning it is hard to start, or it cranks slowly? If it cranks slowly, your starter is probably going south-if you mean it is still hard to get it started, it sounds like you did all the repairs on the ignition side but have not addressed the fuel side-check the fuel pump pressure at the rail on top of the engine, replace the fuel filter. If it is just hard to start when it is warm, you could have a leaking injector (s), or the fuel pump is losing pressure as it gets hot, or your fuel regulator is defective (you could tell this by doing a fuel pressure test).

2000 GMC Jimmy-Diamond Edition-4.3L V-6. Where is the Fuel Injector located on the engine? How do you replace it?

Their are 6 fuel injectors on your Jimmy. They are set up into a system called a "Spider". You have to remover the upper intake manifold to get to the Injector Spider. Once the Upper Intake Manifold is removed you will see the Injector Spider. If you need further instructions my e-mail is [email protected]

Will be glad to help you through it.

1995 AUDI 90 CS - Hard to start... spark & fuel OK

Have you tried replacing the starter? I know starters can go bad if the car is not started or run for a long time.

I am getting the same car, with the same issue.. it sat for 2 yrs and won't start.

My mechanic told me it is probably a starter.
