The van has a 3.4 in it and it starts kind of hard and will not idle.
I have two trouble codes and don't know how to get rid of them or even if they are the problem.
The codes are P0452 evap emission sys. pressure sensor / switch low. and
1374 CKP high to low res freq correlation error
Thanks
Jim
I had the same problem with my 2000 Chevy Venture. First with no engine codes, and problem solved by spraying carburator cleaner on the throttle butterfly (was sticking partially open..giving too lean of an idle mixture). Second time symptoms worse including lurching at acceleration with one engine stall. Check Engine lit up and code was P0341 (camshaft sensor) after scan. Replace inexpensive camshaft sensor (replacement was somewhat difficult, however, as it involved removal of serpentine belt and power sterring reservoir) and problem solved. My 3.4L now runs like new, depite having 175,000 mile on it.
Well Jim its probaly and sounds like you have a bad crank shaft sensor. hope this helps and goodluck!
