Check under the seat there should be a plug se if its still together if so check for any frayed wires for a short if still ok your motor for the seat is prob toast
first check to see if anything is blocking the tracks if so remove. next it could be the switch if passenger side has controls try swapping them if passenger side does not have controls take switch off and check the resistance in the switch when in the on position (forward or back) if it is not the switch motor is probably burned out if passenger side again has motor try swapping. (passengers don't need to be comfortable) or just buy a new motor. hope this helps
I had the same problem the passenger seat stopped working I located the problem in the motor , i send the 12 volts to the black and white wire needed a chik start with my fingers once start to spin was ok the same in reverse polarity seems a dead spot on the motor , part number of the motor is 2088200842Temic 12v 083314gp41a35h210801-a2b
if motor seemed to slowly get worse over time then there is a great chance that the motor is gone. You will have to unplug the motor and test for power at the motors connector. if the power is good when switch is activated then the motor is dead, but if no power is found then you either have a bad switch or connector or a wiring harness problem. It will not be the fuses since the driver and passenger seats are the same. also one more thing to check is if your vehicle has memory seats then if no power is found at motor, this memory module mounted to seat could be the problem..
