1998 Ford F-150 4.2 V6 starts and idles fine ibut bogs when step

1998 Ford F-150 4.2 V6 starts and idles fine if you step on the gas to accelerate quickly it bogs down and backfires I have changed fuel filter, fuel pump, Fuel pressure regulator I have swapped every sensor from my 99 ford and still have same problem. The truck will get up to Highway speed but if I press the gas passed a certain point it bogs down. I am frustrated and ready toset fire to the truck. Help

My 88 toyota camry wont accelerate when i step on the gas pedal

tests:

cruise at say 45mph ok?
if i accelerate , it bogs then catches up?
if i accelerate, it bogs and never catches up?
if i go WOT, wide open throttle it has full power up a hill after the bog?

these test , are the KEY tests.
this tells me what is wrong.
i hope the car is tuned up, if not , why no? the 60k mile done?

Motor bogs down

You could possibly turn up the idle if it bogs down when idling. If it only bogs down when you press the gas it may be a clogged fuel filter or fuel line. Could also be your fuel pump starting to go if you ride with less than a quarter of a tank of gas most of the time.

1976 Ford F150 Bogs down when accelerater is pressed.

if it has a converter on it.....it may be stopped up, but before you replace it have the fuel pump checked, as it may not be getting enough gas at higher rpms. It will start and idle fine, but starve out when you press the pedal. Have you changed the fuel filter? That will cause the same problem.....
