The grid in your seat has shorted out if the right one works The relay controls both seats so you diffently have a burnt grid

A lot of times these become disconnected when stuff gets jammed up under the states and you alter the seat position with the electric motors or when you do a great job of vacuuming. It maybe a fuse you can look at the owners manual but usually this would affect both sides unless there Isa separate circuit for each seat.

If its not one of these items locate the seat connection and test for continuity most heated seat work on the same principal as rear window defroster (heat created by resistance)

Testimonial: "Very pleased with your prompt response. As both fuses are ok, it appears the problem is where you have indicated. Thank you very much."

This system allows the electrical heating of the front seats on passenger demand.
The components of the system are:
  • the seat heating elements located in the seat cushion and backrest.
  • the heated seat control switch, located on the seat side trim panel.
  • temperature sensors located in the seat cushion heating elements.
  • heated seat relay.
Do both front seat heaters not work ? Do you know how to test electrical circuits with voltmeter ?

Drivers side seat quit working and the seat heat's not working either. Passenger side works fine, fuse looks good, any suggestions?

if you already checked the fuses and found them to be good then you may now want to check the connectors under the seat. You will need a probe light to so this. The probe light will light up if you have power coming into the (+) terminal end. Watch this video to learn how to use a probe light tester.

I have a 2004 Toyota Camry XLE and the heated seat on the driver side stopped working. I had the fuse labeled for the heated seat (which I believe was 20a) and it was blown. The buttons for the heated...

Replace the fuse with one the same rating. If the seat now works.... smile. If the new fuse blows or the heat does not work you may have a short (or a broken wire) inside the seat that's causing the problem. It's an 11 year old seat.... tearing it apart to find the source may not be worth it.

Only the heated seat on the driver's side of my Audi TT is working. Any suggestions I can try to get passenger side working? Thanks

It should have its own relay and fuse, check them both. If they are functioning it might be the switch itself, or the element in the seat has burned out.

Drivers door control panel (power window heated seat locks ect ) what to do none of it is working 2006 chevy trail blazer

Check fuse #10 in the rear fuse panel. If fuse OK, try switching passenger side control module into driver's side. Also check for broken wires in wiring harness that goes between body and driver's door.

If the fuse #13 has not blown, it could be the element has an open. If you have a power meter or 12 volt test light, I would check and see if you have 12 volts to the seat connector. If you do, then the seat element may be damaged.

Hope this helps.

The heated seats stopped working.

It could be a fuse or possibly a burnt element altho Ive never really heard of one doing it on both sides at once when it was an element. There is a reset button on some under the hood on the drivers side I believe.

Rear window defroster, no driver heated seat

check the ground on the passenger side of the rear window under the trim panel. That is what was wrong with mine.
