Hello, I just purchased my first jag, 07 XK, and i love it. I've since bought 2 Jaguar XK OEM Polished Aluminum Fender Louvres Vents, and was wondering if this is a do it yourself pop in pop out, or take it to the dealer.

i would not advise you to fit these bulbs because the headlight glass isnt built to withstand the heat and can and will explode with the glass type and the plastic type melt or go obscure ,to fit these lights you will need to change the actual headlights for a headlight with the certificate of homoglonation for this type of bulb .Also these high capacity discharge units used with these bulbs are extremely dangerous if you are not sure how to fit and wire them in ,then please go to local garage who can then check the headlights for you as well .Another thing to consider is that many countries that have a vehicle inspection every year will not pass the vehicle if these bulbs are fitted to conventional headlight vehicles .But these kits are easy to fit ,the feed from the headlight goes into the high discharge unit then from their to the bulb ,simple to do but play with it and get a discharge ?? it will scar for life.Beforew you buy check with your local vehicle inspection station first because you do not want to buy then have to take them off ,hence thats why they are on E bay someone had their car fail its inspection and they had to remove the kits .
