My nissan murano back door won't open? It used to unlock and lock but now does either. Whether I use the keyless entry and try to lock/unlock doors or manually in the car try to lock/unlock doors---neither seem to unlock the back door anymore?!

Hi, try to put some garage oil or W40 on the lock of the back door from time to time. That was my fix method and still working.

2005 Nissan Sentra, the keyless entry locks the doors but does not unlock them.

does your unlock button work in car? If it does, do you have another keyless entry key fob? If so does it work? If you just replaced the battery you can try removing battery and cleaning contacts within remote. I know some of the nissan altimas had the same issue and the only solution was a new key fob. Good Luck

Had the battery changed in 2007 nissan murano and now the chimes don't ring and the drivers doesn't automatically move back when opening the drivers door. How do I reset these?:

Disconnecting the battery erases stored memory, after you connect the battery put the key in the ignition cylinder and turn the driver door switch on(open) and off (closed), on (open),the entry, exist function then becomes complete, and the return operation can be operated,

Won't open my door when I press unlock, key won't open door either

can you manually unlock the lock and open the door?? Is it more than one door or just one specific door? If its just one door, yourcactuator inside the door may be bad or you have a wire issue. If its all the doors, more than likely you blew a fuse or a relay(id say fuse)

Open drivers door, locate plastic plug on inside of door, near latch, across from door lock cylinder. Pop it out. There is a set screw that retains lock cylinder. Tighten set screw.

this acctualy a saftey feature on most vehicles. if you want to deactivate this feature you can pull the fuse for the power locks. the downfall to this is, if you have keyless entry it will not work nor will your power locks

Keyless entry on honda civic 2006 not working

The keyless entry is designed to work with the doors closed (closed - not locked). If the door ajar sensor thinks the door is open the keyless entry is disabled. When you manually lock the door it might tighten the door just enough to activate the keyless entry. I would try slamming all the doors closed and then see if the keyless entry works. If it still wont work have the wiring checked on the front door lock.
