Looking for a serpentine belt diagram for a 96 Olds Aurora witha 4.0. The diagram is gone from under the hood

Your car shloud have a belt routing diagram under the hood, if not, I would try to find this info. out at the dealership, their service manuals have all of these diagrams, ask for a copy to put in your glovebox.

Have you checked under the hood, should be a belt diagram some were around the fan shroud .

10171018 <-part # for a belt routing label.
there should already be a belt routing label under the hood or on your core support with a picture :}

I would suspect a bad 'tensioner' pulley. When you get the new belt on, try to pull up on the uppermost part of the belt by hand - if it moves you should replace the tensioner (as this is what 'holds' your belt on). I can't seem to find a routing diagram so if it's not on a sticker under the hood or in your owner's manual try the local GM dealer...they have to have one. Good luck!.

Look on page 6-70 of your owners manual. It is listed under Engine Accessories Belt

first i would like to say is There should be a diagram of the belt's routing somewhere under the hood if not how ever if you can find a chilton manual for your car and the yr they have that in there i have they do but as for finding a diagarm on line sorry but i could not find any
