2000 Oldsmobile Aurora Questions & Answers
Wiring on a 2000 oldsmobile aurora driver side door dead
I would think you have some partially broken wiring
going from the body into the door
That will be fun to get to
I would take off the door panel for starters, & see how much
wiring I could pull into the door to check out.
Do that with a battery cable off, after you know what you loose with
the battery disconnected ( radio,no start or what ever applies)
My Windshield Wipers will not turn off
I believe you have what some call a "multi-switch" on the steering column for the wipers. That part may be broken inside, considering it is most all plastic inside. Also consider the other solution to be the wiper motor. Some wiper motors occasionally do this also.Neither of these is very common as a problem.Neither of these is really easy to fix. If it were possible, you might consider finding someone who could test these before you pay to have either part replaced. Be blessed.

Will not stay running engine stops when hit the
Could be a lot of things. Get the engine scanned for any codes. Look at fuel trim and O2 sensors, etc.
Could be bad gas, dirty filter, fuel pump.
A common issue on these engines is the plenum connecting the throttle body to the intake cracks. Causes rough idling/stalling.
Also look at air filter, MAS Air Flow sensor. But reading your fuel trim values should help here.
I have a 2002 Oldsmobile
That compressor is now 9 years old if done in 08 it may have leaked out the freon check to see if gas is still in the system if it still has gas check fuses if there good check the plugs on the compressor/cycling switch for broken/corrosion/wires/connection and fix otherwise if all is good the compressor clutch coil may have failed good luck and check all electrical things and gas first before going further a quick push in on the pin on the ac line at the tank low pressure side will give you the gas confirmation a high escape sound like when you press your tire valve to release air will tell you if it is still properly freon charged turn your face away when doing this or wear safety glasses then if it's ok start the electrical process a guy with mechanical knowledge would be a big help a cheeseburger deluxe and a beer will keep him happy Stephen
03 aurora were is power windows fuse
No fuse, there is a circuit breaker in rear fuse box. The rear fuse box seems to be under the rear seat cushion.
An easier way might be to check wire harness on hinge side of driver door. Probably has a protective rubber boot covering, pull the covering back far enough to check proper wire color. Orange wire is voltage for power windows, hot all the time. Use a test light to probe that wire for voltage. If voltage, the CB isn't the problem. You also need ground, black wire.
Sometimes those wires may break because you open and shut the driver door so much.
