If your Honda is naturally aspirated/carbureted, then your only problem is the fact that the diaphragm that squirts gas into the venturis is not operating. Maybe just need to replace said diaphragm or maybe just an adjustment to make it squirt sooner is all it may need. This initial gasoline squirt is what keeps the engine from dieing when you stomp the throttle. Understood?

Try pounding on the gas tank with a rubber mallet or similar tool. (careful not to dent the tank) Try starting it. If it runs, replace the fuel pump (it's nfg). I've diagnosed numerous fuel pumps this way. Remember the pump needs to be replaced, if you drive it, you don't know when it'll fail for good. Hope this helps. Please post the results.
SOURCE: 2005 honda civic, suddenly no power to anything
Yes, there is a main fuse. It is located in the fuse box under the hood.
A faulty ground wire could also cause this.
Checking the continuity on each one separately (with the circuit deenergized) would be my first check.

Possible that the fault can be with the fuel pump as the fuel pressure drops off when the pump is hot. In this case you need to measure the fuel pressure when the enigne is running after a cold start and then after it gets warm. Also the same applies to the ignition unit in case the spark decreases or fails when the coil or the ignition system is warm. You can test this with the plug removed and cranked to look for spark.

The car still runs and drives, just no power and shakes badly during acceleration. Could the timing belt have jumped? Could this happen while driving yet the car still runs?
