Where is the fuel pump relay located on a 1988 Pontiac Bonneville?

All relays are located at the center rear of the engine compartment, below the left side under-hood fuse block (behind the maxi-fuse/relay center cover). There should be a diagram under the cover, that will direct you to the relay you seek.

    The fuel pump relay is not under thr hood in the engine compartment. I had the same question about the same car. I replaced the fuse for the fuel pump and found the relay that way. It's right by the fuse on the passenger sied in the fuse block.

A fuel pump switch? Never heard of one in all these years working on Pontiac since 1872. Gall a GM parts dearler and ask them. They will tell you the same story I just told you. The pump runs off the relay only

My 88 bonneville keeps blowing the fuel pump fuse i can not fine a wire with a bad spot. how can i fine the bad wire to fix this problem

It may not be a bad spot in the wire, it could be a bad pump thats tied up, or a bad relay, you need to run 12 volts directly to the pump to see if it runs, if it dosent than theres your problem, if it does than it could be the relay.

1999 bonneville fuel pump

There is a Fuse Relay Station under the Hood on the Drivers Side Up torwards the Firewall. The Relay is in there. Just replace it. it is Very tough to test and is More than likely your Problem and Cheap.
