On my 1995 automatic mustang when i press the gas and it switches gears from 2 to 3rd it vibrates then i let go on the gas and it stops when i press the gas again it does it again

You ran the car out gas and there's air in the system.. Not the Throttle Body.. Expel the air from the system.. 1. Raise/Support your hood.. 2. Turn your key to the ign position, (listen for the fuel pump to come on).. 3. Go to the fuel rail(s) and press the Schrader Valve, (looks like a tire air valve), until only fuel comes out.. (use safety gear, especially for eyes) 4. Rinse/Collect excess fuel before cranking (careful around electrical connections)

I sounds like you have an electrical problem with the dashboard. It will have to be pulled and checked.

I had the same problem with the gas tank on my 95 mustang. You are going to have to drop the tank. There is a rubber seal where the filler neck goes into the gas tank that has failed and must be replaced. You are losing even more gas than you think. Everytime you make a left turn gas is sloshing out through that bad seal.

Hi, the vibration is due to the old transmission fluid in the car, the transmission will make the car to shake due to slippage (especially immediately after your car uplifts to a higher gear and is cruising at low rmps).
Get the flush and the problem will be solved.

The fluid may be low enough to cause the slippage after coming to a quick stop and then taking off again . Have it checked

You need to remove it and see if the gear on the motor is bad or the regulator is. One or the other needs to be replaced

Check the transmission fluid level and cleanliness.
If it is low, add fluid. If it is dirty or smells burned, take it in to a decent transmission repair shop and be prepared to mortgage your home.

Does it idle fine? Sounds like a vacuum leak.

hve yonr tyres rebalaced and pull the tailshaht out and check unis
vfor stifness and wear check the nut on the diff yoke is not loose check tailshaft for any small dents or damage
