Toyota Surf 1995 3ltre diesel, looking for the vacuum line diagram.
After fitted new cylinder head, trouble with lack of power.
Vacuum line on the wrong way?
Dont see what you mean --- vacuum line is nothing to do with the head .vacuum pump[ is on the back of your alternator the line runs to small vacuum tank and on to the brake booster .loss of power cant be related to vacuum,
where are you geoff? what country?if you were in australia ,i would tell you to get amanual from a toyota dealer . but we then would have the problem ,that SURFs didnt come out in aust as originl equipment the one s that are here ,were second hand imports.one of the problems with Toyota was there are small differences for all the different countries,I would still think a toyota manual from a dealer would be the way to go ,as the manuals that i have got useually have the variations in them ,have a look before you buy it .

This model 3ltr diesel has a small secondery butterfly in the throttle body, which has vacuum lines coming out off it, which go to 2 valves that have electrical wires going to them. The fuel pump also has a couple of electrial switches going to it. Could it be that the switches on the fuel pump are linked to the switches on the throttle body?
