It starts, I'm driving it, could be driving for 2 min or 15 min and then I lose all power like I just ran out of gas. I put it in neutral or park, wait a couple of minutes and it starts up again. Is there possible a brain or something maybe going bad? Any ideas?

It could be a plugged fuel filter, try replacing that first, its cheap and easy to do, it should be in front of your right rear tire mounted to the frame,it probly is partially plugged and when u start it some debris from the tank might be restricting it even further and causing your problem, hope this helps

Sputtering/ chugging while driving

Disconnecting the battery could reset codes and/or sensor readings in the engine computer.
Is the check engine light on, and have you checked the computer for trouble codes ? Is fuel pressure normal ?

Why does my 1995 Volvo transmission stop going into gear after it's hot?

1) How's your fluid level?

2) When did you last replace your filter?

3) When it shifted, did it go trough all the gears as you accelerate or did it just stay on one gear and never shifted?

4) How's reverse, does it slip out too after 2 - 3 min?

5) As you first able to shift into gear, you can drive it for 2 to 3 mintues and it just suddenly slip out of gear?

.... could be a number of different things. Maybe even burnt out clutche(s) inside your transmission

96 Benz ran out of gas other day, got it filled up & drove home (20 miles). Next day drove about 40 miles, left car running in park for about 15 min, when I left car was stalling like it was running o

You never leave a car running, as it will
overheat the Exhaust Converter
When you run out of fuel, you sometimes
ruin the Fuel Pump
It depends on gas to lubricate it,as strange as it sounds
Check fuel pressure & volume at the motor with a gauge

Car starts but turns off after a 10 min or so.

This definitely sounds like a fuel pump/filter issue. Good news if it's the filter, it's only about 10 dollars to buy a new one and about 5 minutes labor, including jacking up your car.

Fuel pumps cant be a pain in the arse at times, others are fairly easy. Best way to determine if it's the fuel pump, run over to Canadian tire and pick up an ohms meter. Test the fuel pump that way.

No Power sometime, Engine Light is Flashing

If fuel filter hasn't been done lately I would start there & if you can, have fuel pressure tested while your at it. You may have tired fuel pump but pressure test will confirm. If you recently filled up somewhere different last time you got gas, I'd also try some "Heet" or similar just incase you got a tank full with some water in it.
