Some breakers will not reset nor turn on when defective. Sometimes pumping them off-on works.
Has anyone got in there and wired them wrong?
Check their wiring and bench test the breakers if needed.

Testimonial: "Thanks I'll try testing the breakers out and check the wiring."

Civic, Prelude, and Acura (Honda) Integra maintenance light reset.

On the typical Honda gauge layout, there is a small, rectangular, recessed button directly to the left of the "Maintenance Required" light. Using a key, you can press this button in, With the key off, hold down the trip meter reset button. turn the key on and continue holding the reset button in until the maintenance light goes off, about 10 seconds. which will cause the light to turn green. The maintenance light (at least on Civic) will come on about every 4000 miles if not reset (for oil changes), and also periodically for other scheduled maintenance.

Hi I have a Yamaha 6300isde generator not producing power

It sounds like there may be an issue with the voltage regulator or the rectifier on your Yamaha 6300isde generator. The voltage regulator controls the voltage output of the generator, and the rectifier converts the AC power to DC power for use by the lights and other electrical components.
Here are some steps you can try to troubleshoot and potentially fix the problem:
  1. Check the circuit breaker: Make sure that the circuit breaker on the generator is not tripped. If it is, reset it and see if the generator produces power.
  2. Check the voltage regulator: Check the voltage regulator and make sure that it is functioning properly. If it is not, it will need to be replaced.
  3. Check the rectifier: Make sure that the rectifier is functioning properly. If it is not, it will need to be replaced.
  4. Check the wiring: Make sure that all of the wiring is connected properly and that there are no loose or damaged wires.
  5. Check the outlets: Make sure that the outlets are not damaged or clogged.
  6. Consult the manual: Consult the manual for specific troubleshoot and service information for your generator model.
If you are not familiar with electrical systems and troubleshooting, it is best to contact a professional for help with diagnosing and repairing the problem.
It's important to note that working on electrical systems can be dangerous and it is important to take all necessary safety precautions.

How do we lite the electric water heater run off of a battery or a generator ? and how do we lite it

If it is electric, you do not have to light anything. If it was gas you would have to light the pilot light. Electric water heaters have elements. If you have no hot water it could be caused by no power to the elements (like circuit breaker tripped or fuses). Check to make sure the breaker is not tripped. If there is power, I would test the upper heating element using a multimeter. If you do not know how to do this, then you should probably get a professional to come help you.

Sparking in power box when we use the generator and trips the braker

When you say "power box" do you mean the main breaker box in your house? Is the generator hooked up to the breaker that you say trips when the generator is on? There is a short somewhere. First check the generator. Is it running OK. In other words if you plug something into the generator receptacle directly, does it work? If the generator itself works properly, then check the wiring from the generator to the circuit breaker. DO NOT use the generator until the problem solved = safety first.

What can be the cause of my baterry easily drained or loss of power even though is a newly replaced baterry in my 93 honda accord lx two door..They even check my alternator and they found nothing wrong...

A mechanic would disconnect the battery and check each circuit for a voltage drain by disconnecting the fuses and breakers. Anything with a relay or way to use electricity such as a light bulb or switch can cause a small short to ground or voltage drain.

03 Mazda Tribute's charging indicator light begins flashing on and off when engine reaches 1200 rpm and becomes contineously on at and above 1500 rpm. With engine idling or decelerating to below 1200 rpm...

It may be that the light is being tripped due to an "over voltage" condition. The faster you spin the alternator/engine the higher the voltage output of the alternator. I would test the voltage coming out of the alternator. It should be at about 14.3v or so max. If it gets into the 16v+ range when you increase the engine RPM then the voltage regulator has failed and needs to be replaced.

Honda ems 4000 generator starts and runs great, but no power

The plunger is stuck where the governor rod which is spring attached to the frame is. If you locate the governor metal rod on the lower level of the unit. zrock it to a higher rpm as you would a car carburator from under the hood.
This will free the plunger and the green light will go on and your current meter will register 120 volts.

When you lay up the generator for quite some time it often sticks closed. With monthly start up you will no have this problem reoccurr.

I have a onan genset generator model #3.0AJ 1R/16017S serial # L830689411. It is wired wrond to my motor home it runs good but no electricity coming from generator to motor home, which is a 1982 coachmen....

The wiring diagram for the generator is pretty simple. You have three wires coming out, White/Green/Black. The black is the Hot, White is neutral, and green is ground. If the generator is running and you do not have power at the black wire, the problem is in the generator. Check the circuit breaker on the generator for OK. Make sure that power is passing through it.
