Do you have a blown head gasket? Just a guess. If you do this is one of the symptoms. You may have some coolant in your oil. Check your inside the valve cover for water by looking in through the oil cap.

Check your vacuum lines near your intake. Usually with bogging in gears would be a bad front o2 sensor. When was the last time you got a tune up? Spark plugs, wires, fuel filter. Not being up to date on those can cause the car to lose performance.

SOURCE: I have a 2006 F250, 6.0 diesel (power stroke) it

This is very complex system. Best to have it checked by qualified diesel mechanic who has the proper equipment to check out all the systems, that could be related to the problem you are having. Just to start throwing parts at it can become very expensive very fast

2007 Lincoln engine hesitates

no VIN 8th digit told.(engine)
well; if a tune up fails (spark plugs) and Spark COP boots.
then check fuel pressure by the book.
bogs under load,
stalls means engine stop spinning as in zero RPM./
loss of power or bogging , and not violent loss, means mostly fuel supply is weak. or low injector rail pressure found
a shop has the tool to do that, why not put them in the loop>?

I own a Suzuki swift 2000 model was driving along then I started to loose power then the car turned off then the eps light comes on what's wrong

ever get a full tune up in 15 years.
lost power is 99% of time just that, not doing service on car.
and is very common,.... so....did you?
spark parts and filters?
lost power can be misfiring or bogging,
misfire is violent and spark.
bogging (smooth) is loss of fueling.
stalling is same
if you cant save the stall with a fast right foot, it is usually loss of fueling.
say, bad fuel, out of fuel, wrong fuel (diesel)
or filter clogged, low fuel pressure. (forget EPS)
fix engine.
unless transmission was slipping what it, RPM rises car fails to move faster, that be SLIP.

I have a 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee. It was running good but then all of a sudden it starts running rough. You can be driving down the road and all of a sudden it will die . It will run good for about 10-15...

It could be a dirty idle air control valve located on the throttle body but when you said it backfires after running a while and before stalling, this sounds like a clogged catalytic converter. When blocked they will cause the exhaust manifold to glow red igniting gasses on the exhaust stroke, backfiring. A clogged cat will result in a loss of power as if you are trying to pull a trailer full of rocks uphill.

Engine power bogged down and there is substantial rattling on my 1976 CB550 Four.

You have some clogged carb jets and possible water in your float bowl. Pilot jets clog easy because the holes are very small. The main jets might be clogged but think its the pilots and water in the carb. Remove the carbs, open them up, clean the float bowls, then remove the jets and ream them with a small peace of wire. Before putting them back in the carb, hold them up to the light and make sure you can see through them so you know they are clean and unclogged.

Engine power loss

I would start with a complete tune up and a motor flush to rid the block of any sludge. after that, i would change the fuel filter and pump as well. it wouldn't hurt to reset the valves. this will help dramatically. due to the miles, this will give you sometime to save up for a re haul on the piston rings and valve springs and head gaskets.
