Can anybody help me with the wiring diagram for the #1 o2 sensor on a Chrysler Pacifica 2006, 3.5 engine? And the harness connector diagram. Thank you

Rear blinker not working 2006 Chrysler Pacifica not the bulb

Here is your fuse box diagram Annie, but the blinkers are not in it, because they are controlled by the Body Control Module. (BCM).

If the front is working okay, check the bulb connections, any wire connectors you can see and the wires in that rear area that go to the body for grounding.

You probably going to need a good auto-electrician.

2001 300m. Where does O2 sensor connect?

You might be able to, but it would be difficult. Is there any wiring left of the original wiring harness? If there is, I would suggest finding a 300m at a wrecking yard and cutting off the wiring harness part that has the connector that goes to the 02 sensor connector. I will attach a picture of the wiring diagram to the 02 sensor. Maybe that will help.

2006 pacifica

Car may be running rich. If the car is getting normal mpg, I would not worry. The codes that indicate poor converter efficiency indicate the converter is wearing out. If that code keeps coming back, replace the converter. If it is getting poor mpg, I would look for something causing rich operation. Possibly a broken fuel pressure regulator or maybe a bad map sensor. Continued rich operation will cause the converter to fail prematurely.

WARNING When disconnecting the sensor electrical connector, do not pull directly on wire going into sensor.

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Disconnect the heated oxygen sensor electrical connector.
  3. Use a socket such as a crowfoot wrench to remove oxygen sensor.

To Install:

NOTE When replacing an O2 Sensor, the PCM RAM memory must be cleared, either by disconnecting the PCM C-1 connector or momentarily disconnecting the Battery negative terminal. The NGC learns the characteristics of each O2 heater element and these old values should be cleared when installing a new O2 sensor. The customer may experience driveability issues if this is not performed.
  1. After removing the sensor, the threads must be cleaned with an 18 mm X 1.5 + 6E tap. If reusing the original sensor, coat the sensor threads with an anti-seize compound such as Loctite 771- 64 or equivalent. New sensors have compound on the threads and do not require an additional coating. Tighten the sensor to 28 Nm (20 ft. lbs.) torque.
  2. Connect the heated oxygen sensor electrical connector.
  3. Install the wiring clip to the heat shield.
  4. Connect the negative battery cable.

3.8L Downstream Sensor

WARNING When disconnecting the sensor electrical connector, do not pull directly on wire going into sensor.
  1. Disconnect negative battery cable.
  2. Raise and support vehicle.
  3. Disconnect the electrical connector.
  4. Use a socket such as a crowfoot wrench to remove oxygen sensor.

  2. Disconnect the upper O2 sensor connector.
  3. Use a socket such as a crowfoot wrench to remove oxygen sensor.

To Install:


Testing


NOTE Allow the O2 Sensor to cool down before conducting the test. The O2 Sensor voltage should stabilize at 5.0 volts. Raising the hood may help in reducing under hood temps quicker.

  1. Turn the ignition on, engine not running. With the scan tool, actuate the O2 Heater Test.
  2. With the scan tool, monitor O2 Sensor voltage for at least 2 minutes. Does the O2 Sensor voltage stay above 4.5 volts- If so, sensor is normal.
  3. If voltage does not stay above 4.5v as indicated, check wiring and connectors. Check O2 sensor for contamination.
  4. If wiring from the O2 sensor is damaged, DO NOT repair it; replace the O2 sensor.
  5. Turn the ignition off. Allow the O2 sensor to cool down to room temperature.
  6. Disconnect the O2 Sensor harness connector.
  7. Measure the resistance across the O2 Sensor Heater element component side. Resistance for either O2 Sensor should be 2.1-2.7 ohms.
  8. If the O2 Sensor is not within range, turn the ignition off.
  9. Disconnect the O2 Sensor harness connector. Turn the ignition to ON; engine not running.
  10. With the proper scan tool, actuate the O2 Heater Test.
  11. Using a 12-volt test light connected to ground, probe the O2 Heater Control circuit in the O2 Sensor harness connector.
  12. If the test light illuminates brightly and flashes on and off, replace the O2 Sensor.
  13. Confirm the repair with the appropriate Verification Test.
  14. Turn the ignition off.
  15. Disconnect the O2 Sensor harness connector.
  16. Disconnect the PCM harness connector.
  17. Measure the resistance between ground and the O2 Heater Control circuit in the O2 Sensor harness connector.
  18. Is the resistance below 5.0 ohms- If yes, repair the short to ground in the O2 Sensor Heater Control circuit. If resistance is okay, go to step 20.
  19. Confirm the repair.
  20. If resistance was okay when measured in step 17, check the PCM harness connector terminals for corrosion, damage, or terminal push out. Repair as necessary.
  21. If the resistance is still not within specified range, replace and program the Powertrain Control Module in accordance with the service information.
  22. Confirm the repair.

On my 1998 crysler sebring I am getting OBD II codes of 40 and 41,Transmission & engine module,any suggestions where to start? Thanks.

Possible causes - 1/1 And 2/1 O2 sensors harness circuit shorted
- 1/1 And 2/1 O2 sensors harness circuit connectors (wrong connection)
- Faulty Powertrain Control Module (PCM) P0040 CHRYSLER Description At ignition on the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) checks the voltage on the ground side of the O2 sensor harness connector. If voltage is higher than two volts the P0040 code will set. code 41- Possible causes - 1/2 And 2/2 O2 sensors harness circuit shorted
- 1/2 And 2/2 O2 sensors harness circuit connectors (wrong connection)

I have a 2004 Chrysler Pacifica

136266353that would be your HO2 sensor. It's located in the left hand exhaust manifold closer to the top of the engine. It usually takes a special socket to remove one. If you have any doubt, take it to a shop and have them replace it for you. This sensor effects fuel and driveability, don't go to long without fixing it as it may cause damage to your catalytic convertors.

Four wires (circuits) are used on each O2 sensor:

  • 12–volt feed circuit for the sensor heating element
  • Ground circuit for the heater element
  • Low-noise sensor return circuit to the PCM
  • Input circuit from the sensor back to the PCM to detect sensor operation

O2S Sensor removal Never apply any type of grease to the oxygen sensor electrical connector, or attempt any soldering of the sensor wiring harness.
WARNING: THE EXHAUST MANIFOLD, EXHAUST PIPES AND CATALYTIC CONVERTER(S) BECOME VERY HOT DURING ENGINE OPERATION. ALLOW ENGINE TO COOL BEFORE REMOVING OXYGEN SENSOR.
1. Raise and support vehicle.
2. Disconnect O2S pigtail harness from main wiring harness.
3. If equipped, disconnect sensor wire harness mounting clips from engine or body.
CAUTION: When disconnecting sensor electrical connector, do not pull directly on wire going into sensor.
4. Remove O2S sensor with an oxygen sensor removal and installation tool.

02S Sensor installation
Threads of new oxygen sensors are factory coated with anti-seize compound to aid in removal. DO NOT add any additional anti-seize compound to threads of a new oxygen sensor.
1. Install O2S sensor. Tighten to 22 ft. lbs. (30 N·m) torque.
2. Connect O2S sensor wire connector to main wiring harness.
3. If equipped, connect sensor wire harness mounting clips to engine or body. When Equipped: The O2S pigtail harness must be clipped and/or bolted back to their original positions on engine or body to prevent mechanical damage to wiring.
