SOURCE: oil leak 1998 plymouth breeze

First check your PCV system and make sure it is in good working order this is a must. Then check the cam sensor or oil sending unit, it is located between the engine and fire wall under the exhaust manifold.

I changed the oil pressure sending switch, but my oil light still comes on when idling and goes off when accelerating

I have done some chrysler vehicles that the hole that the unit screws into has to be cleaned also, mostly durango's. But when you change a oil sending unit and it doesn't help, light or gauge. then the crankshaft bearings are worn and it's time for an engine rebuild or replacement.

Oil leak in a 98 plymouth breeze 2.0

I've had a 1990 Acclaim, a 1990 Shadow, and a 1998 Breeze, all have a head gasket leak. The Breeze was the only one to have oil leak and it was on the rear of the engine. I'd guess that's your problem.
