Funny noise/squeal from LH wheel area on turning RH bends

Hi -I have a Nissan Pathfinder circa 60K miles. Wife noticed at weekend while I was driving (she had passenger window down) that a strange `wine` coming from LH wheel area while i took a RH corner? I couldnt hear it at first-thought it was just wind noise -- but driving slowly it became audible . Sounded almost like air escaping/ squeal . Generally happens only on RH corners .CAn happen intermittent on straight lines now today also. Anyone got any ideas ..wheel bearing/Joints/suspension suspect. Dont notice vechickle sitting low or anyhting to one side? Thank s Cheers BigT

Check your brakes for excessive wear or uneven wear. There are metal objects attached to the brake pads, that when worn they touch the rotors creating a metal squealing sound. This serves as a warning to prevent additional damage to your braking system, replace if pads are worn. If this isn't the case, if 4WD have your shafts, hubs bearings checked, if 2WD have your wheel bearings checked. Hopefully this helps

99 Altima with 190k miles warbling noise

It sounds like your water pump is going it usually vibrates throughout everything if it was your alternator it would show signs with your power the easiest way would to take your belt off remembering the belt route and spin the alternator pulley and the water pump pulley to see if they spin freely without noise
