I’ve fitted a teb7as and a split charge relay to my Kuga 2014, the instructions say for a common brake and tail light just wire in the red wire and tape up the brown and black. On 1st test this worked, but...

I have fitted quite a few split charge relays; sometimes for an auxilliary battery on board a special vehicle and sometimes a caravan/trailer battery via a supplementary towing socket.

In all those occasions the vehicle lighting and the wiring for the split charge and caravan electrics were kept completely separate.

My second point is your car is fully computerised and it is very bad practice to interfere with the standard wiring in any way, except for the necessary teeing into the rear lights to obtain signals for the multiway relay that drives or should be driving the trailer lights.

I suggest you restore the wiring to original and if necessary fix the fault code you probably caused and then reread your literature and start over.

1999 corolla fuse box where is the fuse for overhead light and radio replaced overhead light there was a spark and the radio went are they on the same fuse and where is it located

It is important to always disconnect negative battery terminal before doing any electrical work (safety issue since airbag can go off and as you found out, fuses can blow). Anyway, the fuse box is usually located near or above the hood latch lever on front driver's side dashboard console. Sometimes on the left side in front of door panel. A plastic square or rectangular shape plastic door covers it. Remove the door for access. There should be a diagram on the backside of door panel showing what fuse does what. They generally pull straight out. You can also simply check them all removing ONE at a time and look for a break in the middle or burnt spot, replace it back to its socket and move to the next one. When you find the bad one, replace it with one of same amp number (stamped on fuse end). Finally, remember to hook the neg. battery terminal back up when done.

Remove overhead console audi q3

Following the steps below on your Audi Q3:

1 Unhook the negative (black) battery cable with your pliers. The overhead console contains electrical connections; disconnecting the negative battery cable prevents shock.

2 Open the sunglasses holder (the compartment closest to the front auxiliary controls). Remove the Phillips screw from inside the holder.

3 Disconnect the electrical connections to remove the console. Squeeze the tabs on the outside of the electrical connections to disconnect them. Lower the overhead console from the headliner.

4 There are connections at the rear (dome light) and connections at the front (auxiliary controls).

Clicking sound in right rear interior panel with ignition turned on

It is probably the motor/actuator that controls the damper for air flow to the overhead or floor outlets (look on overhead console for button). Turn off the rear A/C and see if it stops. Switch between floor and overhead mode and see what it does. I just disconnected mine and now it only blows overhead. To disconnect just remove the tray on top of the passenger side rear panel over the rear A/C. There is a connector near the front that goes to the damper.

Discovery

There are 2 fuse boxes. One is under the hood, in a black box just behind the battery. The second is to the left and below the steering wheel, behind the dashboard panel. There are two plastic slotted fasteners that hold this dash panel in place. Use a nickel and turn each one 1/4 turn to the left. The panel is hinged on the bottom.
