I have a 2005 Chevrolet Classic and my horn just stopped working about a week ago. I noticed first that it didn't sound when I activated my alarm, then confirmed it when someone cut me off in traffic and I coudn't 'complain'. I checked the fuse panel and do not find a fuse (or relay) labeled horn. Do I need to find a fusible link or does the horn share another fuse?

does alarm have a backup battery maybe it is flat

Sounds like the horn has packed up ?? could be wrong but try a test wire to it see if it still works

I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM WITH MY REAR DOOR TAHOE 2001 ., I TOOK IT TO THE MACHANIC AND IT WAS SO SIMPLE A FUSER UNDER HOOK . $8.00 FUSER ., IF I WOULD IT KNOW . I WOULD IT DONE IT MYSELF.-- REPLACE FUSER WHERE IT SAID --HORN- ITS UNDER THE FRONT HOOK... I END IT UP PAYING $120.00 FOR THEM TWO HOURS WORK...THE LIGHTS AND THE ALARM WAS NON-STOPPING MAKING NOISE..... RIGHT..????

You need an ohm meter and check to see if ther is power at the horns and lights. There is no programming that turns off the horn on the steering column. But I have one of these trucks and had the same problem with the lights and horns but it didn't happen at the same time. My lightbulbs burnt out and the actual horns under the bumper did to. Hope this helps.

alarm wire most be interupting with the horn wireiring.some most be wrong with the alarm intaletion,it like you having a short circuit.

Just hold the lock and unlock button on your key until you hear the horn again. Then its activated :)

Check the fuse, to access fuse panel open drivers door and remove end cover of dashboard

mine did this and i noticed sometimes would work then not more i payed attention horn only worked in straight a head position (steering wheel) when i turned it quit does your do this?
If so remove the cavers that are behind the steering wheel and the trim for guages and radio (this one first steering covers next or youll break'em - i did) carefuly remove turn signal switch and very very carefully dissamble there is a littl brush that has a spring behind it (brush is round) it touches a rind on the steering column that allows the horn to sound. I streched the spring a little ot push the brush out farther ofr better contact.

check the fuse and relay the fuse panel covers will directyou to the ight spot

lock the doors from the switch with the door open. That turns the included factory alarm on.
