I just bought a 2007 Nissan Versa Hatchback and discovered the driver's seat can't be adjusted. Apparently it was an option which was not chosen for this particular car. Is it possible to have the driver's seat replaced with a seat that has a height adjustment lever? My temporary solution is to sit on a cushion, but I'd prefer a seat that can be adjusted.
You have to have the plug on the floor to add the new seat .It plug in to the electric make work ore you have to have the dealer do this for you if not there, Do web search on Junk Yard dog,com for one your cars that year that been crash see you get the eletric seat half price then what the dealer has.
You have post what you need year make model on the site. You have post what you wanted alos the kinda seat it is.
But you need the plug to hook up first.
seat are bolted on 4 nuts screwed the bottom the floor and normal has plug for electric seats
Hope this give you idea what your looking for
I go to the dealer and talk to the part guy have them pull up the sketch on the cars and see if both seats have the same bolt pattern.

I don't think the Versa has electric seats. I think they are manual and operate with the same kind of lever that adjusts the seat back. Instead of the two levers on the right side of the seat, my Versa only has one lever. Do you still think I would need to have an electric plug installed?
Wow, I just checked on the price and you're right. It's over $1,000! I think the seat cushion will work just fine, but thanks for your help! I'm going to check with the dealer anyway to see if I would need to replace the entire seat, or if it could just be the lower portion, or even possibly only a few parts, which might not cost so much.
Thanks again. You were very helpful, and I'll remember to do the maintenance -- change fluids and timing belts. :-)
