The relays are under the hood in the power distribution box.

Where is theheadlight relay or solinod on a2009 ford ranget 4.0 motor

The 2009 Ford Ranger 4.0L does not utilize a traditional headlight relay. The headlamps receive power via fuse #14 (15A) for high beams and #3 (10A) and #4 (10A) for low beams. The fuses get their power from a low current board integrated into the smart junction box. The low current board receives power from fuses #11 (10A) and #23 (30A). All of the fuses mentioned are also located within the smart junction box located in the right kick panel. If all of the fuses are good, I'd recommend checking for power and ground at the headlight bulbs; if both are present, the bulbs have just burnt out. If there is no power present, consider checking the headlight switch function. You can read about the symptoms of a failing headlight switch here: https://www.yourmechanic.com/article/symptoms-of-a-bad-or-failing-headlight-switch

Where is the relay switch on a 2003 ford focus for the headlights

Check the owner's manual for all fuse and relay locations, but there is no such relay for the headlights, the dimmer switch is likely the problem. Have it diagnosed electrically.

My 2001 ford focus the headlights will not turn on, I have checked fuses and relay all good, i have replaced the dimmer switch, still does not work.

if you or someone knows how to use a multimeter can safetly use one while you have them on to see if any current is getting to any headlights sockets where they are located. Also check the connections as well and the wires if they are not connected too.

Headlights do not work. Beam works, park lights and other lights work. Bulbs ok

more than likely a fuse or a relay is bad. locate the fuse for the headlights (owners manual) and check if it is bad, if the fuse is good, find the relay and give it a flick or two and try the headlights then, if they work, its time for a new relay
