SOURCE: how to adjust tapits

The valves in this car are hydraulic and require no adjustment. If they are noisy then you have a mechanical problem with a worn part or parts.

Gearbox oil capacity 1983 mazda B1600 pick up

There's a plug on the side of the trans you need to take out that is the proper level. That's where you put the oil in and when it won't take any more and runs out same hole, put the plug back in and done.

Wing mirrors will not adjust

Hi Michelle , what make model an year vehicle ? On some vehicles this is function is controlled by a door module .

In order to control outside rearview mirror operations, as well as other door functions, the front door modules must be powered up. For this purpose, battery voltage is supplied from the rear fuse block, through separate circuits, to each front door module. Each front door module is separately grounded through a ground stake. The front door modules also use these power and ground supplies to drive the mirror motors, and to provide power and ground to window and lock switches and door lock actuators. In addition, the driver door module (DDM) uses these power and ground supplies to power the driver door switch assembly (DDSA) and integral mirror control switches.

Sounds like the tapping you are hearing are the tapits need tightening, You may need to top the oil up it they are auto ajusting. Your best bet is to talke to your local mechanic and ask how easy it is to adjust the tapits, i'm not sure how much you will need to tighten them on your model of car. I hope this is of some help.
