If you look up in the parts diagram at realoem.com you should be able to figure it out. There isn't that many ways the hoses will go on so shouldn't be to hard.
hi. is the replacement thermostat the same as the one you took out.
have you tried flushing out your radiator. there may also be air lock
in the hose...good luck
you could try running engine and open top heater core hose highest point should bleed it fully, failing that look at manual should tell how much water is in system
if the motor does't work at all then it's probably the motor,if the resister is gone you should still have high,it does'nt go through the resister.you may have a bad ground to the resister, you may need a relay.
THE drain holes on your car are to the right and left of the grill under the screen and comes out either under bonnet or behind the front wheel on inside of gaurd a small rubber hose and could be blocked with dirt or mud
When you find it put water hose and blow it back up to the screen (not down) also your heater gets its air from the same grill and if to much water fills up in it the heater could also get water in it
In both cases try using a garden hose and squirt water like its raining around the plenum chamber in front of the windscreen. The first asker is likely to be heater core and second asker may want to try blocking off the plenum chamber and see if the problem still appears .Regardless though a garden hose is used to locate leak and it shows up leaks in a controlled manner.
easiest way is to find both hoses normally 3/4in hose take one of the motor side and the other off the body side. take the one you took off the body and hook it to the motor side. I would not do this as a long term fix.
