You need to put a scanner on the ecm/computer for the truck and reset or delete the code in the computer. This is all assuming the broken line has been fixed and the lines bleed. The abs light is for the brake system and there is a valve in the line that when the line breaks it shuts off the line in the front or rear of the truck that has a break in it. You need to be sure the valve is shifted to the center position again and this will usually happen when you bleed the fluid after fixing the line or you will need to replace the valve in the brake line. Hope this helps.

Really that is hard to figure. If he went to the abs system on his scanner he should be able to reset the code.

Are the codes out now that you have it fixed.

2008 Sebring, why's my ABS and brake light flashing at me when I try to accelerate?

The flashing ABS and brake light and erratic speedometer behavior that you're experiencing can be signs of a serious issue with your 2008 Sebring. This could indicate a problem with the vehicle's braking system, electrical system, or even a malfunction in the ABS control module itself.

It's not safe to continue driving a vehicle that is exhibiting these symptoms, as it could potentially lead to further damage or even a failure of the braking system. I would recommend having the vehicle thoroughly inspected by a qualified mechanic or dealership as soon as possible to diagnose and repair the issue. This will ensure the safety of you and your passengers while driving.

My 2005 Chrysler Sebring started and turned off three times now, it just has a blinking red light?

Anti-Lock Warning Light (ABS) - If Equipped This light monitors the Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS) described elsewhere in this manual. This light will come on when the ignition key is turned to the ON position and may stay on for as long as four seconds. If the ABS light remains on or comes on during driving, it indicates that the Anti-Lock portion of the brake system is not functioning and that service is required, however, the conventional brake system will continue to operate normally provided that the BRAKE warning light is not on. If the ABS light is on, the brake system should be serviced as soon as possible to restore the benefit of Anti-Lock Brakes. 24 7 Locksmith Orchard Park NY 716 710 7400 Locksmith Orchard Park NY

Clear abs alarm of jeep cherokee

Three things will throw the code
1. Worn shoes (pads)
2. Bad abs module
3. Air in abs lines

if you've changed your pads recently you probably haven't bled the air from the abs lines

Abs and brake light on

The ABS is an in line service that keeps brake line pressure as the wheels are cycled between stop and run in a skid situation. Under normal braking the ABS doesn't work so if your brakes have failed then have then checked out by an accredited brake shop . ABS light may be on to tell you that the ABS system is not available I would be checking the master cylinder and brake booster for brake failure.

An amber abs light is on my 1996 accord accord 2 dr lx -- is this a safety hazard ?

Any time the ABS light is on the ABS system is deactivated. The brake system should still function normally since the normal brakes do not rely on the ABS system to function. The only thing you will notice is that the brakes will lock up under a hard or emergency braking situation. My personal thought on this is at least find out why the light is on. If it is a relatively inexpensive repair that the added safety of the ABS system is well worth it. If it is a expensive repair that you'll havue to way the options. Under .the passenger side of the dash or behind the passenger side kick panel you will find two connectors not connected to anything. One will have three wires and one will have two. With the key off jump the two terminals of the two wire connector. Turn the key on and count the number of times the abs light flashes. It shoul be a series of long flashes and short flashes. The long flash is the first number of the two digit code and the short flashes will be the second. Post the codes and I will try to help you further.

Flashing heater coil from the start and brake lining with abs(?)lights constantly on after braking.

Well, the brake lining sensor is saying that your linings are low.
And the abs light tells one that the wheel speed sensor isn't detecting the right speed in a wheel. Need an ABS OBDII compliant Brake scanner to read codes in 1996 and later vehicles.

I do not know what the flashing heater coil is, though.

I need a year, make, and model to search.

While driving home from work my ABS light illumintaed then my 4X4 high light began flashing. What do you think the problem might be?

For some year models of Explorers involved in the Cruise Control recall, there were additional wiring problems caused by the modification of the Cruise Control. These problems included yours and Brake lights working independent of the brakes. Contact a dealer about this SECOND service bulletin.

The above problems are more likely if the 4x4 is showing a light and the vehicle is in 2 wheel drive. The ABS indicator light is usually to be trusted without the Cruise problem. It would not hurt to check the brake pad linings, sometimes the lining shifts and drops down off the metal of the pads. Finally if the ABS light is still showing a problem that you can not find, check the Emergency brake pads inside the rear rotors.

Service Brake system flashed three seperate times over 24 hours

2 suggestions:

(1) I would suggest someone scan the ABS system for codes. I Have an '03 silverado 2500HD Crew cab, and it needs an EBCM (Electronic Brake Control Module) "ABS module". "Service Brake System" message on dash, ABS and Brake warning lamps lit as well. May be the R/F ABS wheel speed sensor, but what you described happen, shouldn't have caused damage to it.
(2) If the aftermarket rim and tire combo are larger than stock (larger overall diameter), then this may affect the way your PCM functions. You can reprogram the PCM to recognize larger diameter running gear so trans shift points and the speedometer and such can function properly.
I hope this helps.
